Party Recap...

Annabelle decided her 4th birthday would be a circus/carnival theme. We had a bright coloured food buffet including circus tent and clown cookies, clown cakepops, caramel and salted popcorn, red velvet push up cakes, strongman dumbbells and much much more. We decorated the backyard with many carnival games like a funny photo area where children could pose in the lions cage or pretend to be a strongman or tightrope walker. A fishing game, pin the nose on the clown, spinning diablos, knock em down cans, beanbag toss and clown catch. The big circus tent marquee also housed some of the fantastic sideshow games. And whats a carnival without a jumping castle and a clown who did balloon twisting, face painting and fairy floss. So fantastically supplied by Rosie O Entertainment. The area was also decorated with vintage circus artwork and in the background was the circus themed music. Our goodie bags were called 'Clown kits' and each child took home a box which had a clowns wig, red nose, juggling balls, funny glasses and a few sweet treats inside.
It was a fantastic event and I was so happy to be able to plan a wonderful day for my daughter.
