Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

Pizza for dinner! Lollipops, chocolate covered strawberries, Fruit Loops necklaces and sugar cookies decorated by the kids throughout the party! Homemade crumb cake and fruit for breakfast!

  • What People Drank

Juice boxes, water, and LOTS of coffee!

  • Party Favors

We ordered Halloween goody bags and had the kids add pieces of candy to their baggies at each station along the "board"!

  • Activities / Games

We had games & activities set up for each character on the CandyLand game board. At the Gingerbread Tree, Plummy helped the kids create their own plum trees with construction paper and purple thumbprints. In the Peppermint Forest, Ms. Mint ran a very minty version of Ring Toss. Next, Jolly asked the kids to guess how many gumdrops filled each of three containers in the Gumdrop Mountains. On their way through CandyLand, kids were stopped by Lord Licorice, who asked them to pin his mustache on! At Peanut Acres, Gramma Nutt let kids search through her peanut basket for treats. In the Lollipop Woods, Lolly posed for pictures with a life-sized lollipop photo booth. At Snowflake Lake, Princess Frostine helped kids frost their own sugar cookies. In the Chocolate Swamp, Gloppy helped the kids color pictures of candy and chocolate. And at the Candy Palace, "Kween" Kandy helped kids make their own multi-colored necklaces with Fruit Loops cereal! After the kids all finished travelling the board, we watched "Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin" and held a Mummifying Contest with toilet paper rolls. Once it was time for the little ones to go home, the older kids got in their jammies and into their sleeping bags to watch "Enchanted" and "Hairspray" before drifting off to sleep. In the morning, we had breakfast together and got (temporary) tattoos of candies and sweets!
