Party Recap

An owl themed 2nd birthday party was so much fun to create. Pink, blue and brown were the main colours which blended so well together.

With the owl, I tried to keep natural elements in the party by using wooden slabs, hand carved owls for the adult food display, owls made with pinecones in birdcages for the centrepieces of the adult tables, wooden crates for the kiddies sweats n treats table, really tied in nicely together.

For the kids, instead of the usual party hat, I printed and cut out owl masks, and gave each child a set of crayons, and instead of keeping the crayons in the box, I repackaged them with just hessian rope and a small owl to tie in with the owl food labels.

Were I could I chose sweets that relate to an owl, fish mallows and speckled eggs.

Instead of the usual balloons, I used a combination of different paper lanterns to lift the room.

A day that was enjoyed by the birthday girl, as well as two very proud and happy parents for exceeding their expectations.
