Party Recap...
Cup Cake Camp is a fund raiser for the Hope Heart Institute, featuring the most fabulous cupcakes on the planet. I wanted to throw a little princess party to go along with the treats and keep the little girls entertained. It was a great cause and a fabulous party.
Party Highlights
Best Moment
A little girl who did an amazing, professional job of her bookmark while her dad proudly bragged about her talent. Priceless
Most Touching Moment
A dear little girl wailed, tears streaming down her face, that she wanted to color another bookmark. I gave her a party favor to take home and color, and her dad insisted on paying for it.
Funniest Moment
The cupcake eating contest. Oh my word.
Best Dressed
My foam core princess, by far! Nobody else wore a jeweled crown, I'm pretty sure.
What People Ate
To-die-for specialty cupcakes from Trophy Cupcakes and many other Seattle bakeries.
Activities / Games
Make a bookmark--color your fairy or princess, add glitter and a sparkly bow.
Budget
Bookmarks and cupcake toppers are free downloads. I promise you, kids LOVE to make their own party projects. Set out the glitter glue and glitter markers and watch their eyes light up!
Party Favors
Mini-coloring books, either fairies or princesses
