My three creative co hosts and I decided on a vintage circus theme for my daughter's baby shower. The decor was circus animals, buckets and circus buntings. We stayed away from the red stripes and clowns. We had a circus food table. I found a piece of fabric that I thought would work great for the covering. I used buckets for the food, Centerpieces was three balloons in a pail filled with peanuts. i had tickets and circus animals sitting on the table too. We had games that was played at the table and also at stations.
The circus table was a big hit. It had hot dogs, snow cones, chips and cheese, soft pretzels, taffy, suckers, cracker jack, popcorn, and cotton candy.
Besides the circus goodies that they can take with them, we had put tootsie rolls or bubble gum in small jars with a ribbon and a thank you note.
Activities / Games
We played the baby food guess game, price is right, guess the # of peanuts in the jar, Also since the baby was conceived while the couple was in Europe for the summer, We had the guest guess where the baby was conceived at, Germany, France, Prague or Italy.
