Ava's Alice in Wonderland Party

We had so much fun planning & creating this Wonderland for sweet Ava's 3rd Birthday. As a dress up/fashion show/spa/tea party there were a lot of elements we needed to combine. We hand painted the characters, most of the tea sets & tea pots & platters, made the tea cup chandeliers, stacked props & candelabras, custom built the 12' table to accommodate the 14 little guests each sitting in their own adult sized chair we cut to child height & reupholstered. All linens & chair ties were hand sewn. The hedge backdrop with our giant paper roses and the giant 6' mushroom we built special for this event. In the spa/salon area they each had their tiny toes soaked & nails painted, light make up and of course the star of the show, colored hair glitter application. For refreshments they enjoyed tiny treats on tiered platters & little drink me bottles filled with strawberry smoothies & pretty paper straws.
