Ashley's Baby on (Surf) Board Shower

The day ended up being a gorgeous 72 degrees and breezy on the lake. It was late afternoon, so we had a dip bar with 5 different dips and a platter of different breads/pita/pretzels as well as vegetables. A juice bar in large mason jars, fruit to add to juice and a custom mason drinking glass for each guest. The dessert table featured an ombre buttercream cake with chocolate and vanilla cake and dark chocolate ganache and cherry filling. Key lime cake push up pops and rocky road cake pops. A platter of butter almond sugar cookies and a jar of shiny blue sixlets and gummy sharks. And to top it off, mini corked glass bottles of blue and orange M&M's. There was also a place for diapers the guess were asked to bring with M&M cookies as a thank you with a tag that read "For the late nights of Mud & Mayhem in little Ryan's diapers". We had towels laid out on the beach for extra sitting and one long table of 3 picnic tables for sitting.
