Party Recap

Here is an easy Back to School Party! You don't always have to have a huge party with all your friends and relatives. Throw a little party just for your own kids! Make special memories for them they will remember forever.

I used the colors yellow, black, white and a little orange for my color scheme. The back to school banner was a cute find from Target in their dollar spot section. I used personalized printables for decoration. I made a fun subway art that is a free printable on my website celebrateindetail.com.

For the dessert table I kept it very festive. I used Oreo’s, gumballs and candy sticks as special treats. I made these fun pencil cupcake cones. Just bake the cupcake mix inside the cones. They were very easy to make and I think added a unique touch to this table. I wrapped the cones in a pencil printable I made. The cone wrappers are also a free printable.

A fun activity we did was having the kids write down their favorite summer memory and what they are most excited about going back to school. They wrote it on a chalkboard and I think they really enjoyed this! We also played a game of Headbands. I created this game using school supplies object. They each had to guess what type of school supplies the other had.

This was a simple yet festive party for my two little ones. Celebrating this special moment with small details are sure to help get any child excited about going back to school.
