Invitation:
"Holy Cake and Ice Cream Batman, William's turning 7 and the Joker has just stolen his birthday cake. Come dressed as your favorite superhero or villain and help Batman put an end to the Joker's dastardly plan" add Bat Date, Bat Time and Bat Cave Address
Entrance Craft:
Cut felt bats, add name to each, safety pin to each child (will use later 4 game)
Paint Batman face painting- Russ
Play 1970s Batman episode or cartoon from YouTube

Decor:
BAT CAVE - Use crepe streamers and cut out bats at door way with “SECRET Bat Cave Entrance” sign
Gothem City Table scape: Use Russ’ mini’ GOTHIC towers
Use Batman action figures to help decorate the table.
For the cups I drew and cut out my version of the "bat" symbol.  I glued it onto an oval piece of yellow construction paper and outlined the oval with a black pen.  Then, I taped it onto the cup using double sticky tape.  As for the napkins I scalloped the edges and put them in the cup to represent bats. 
SpotLight: I created a bat symbol spotlight using a Pringles can.  I copied comics off the internet from http://www.wickipedia.com/ and glued them onto the can using a glue stick.  I taped a bat image to the inside of the lid and placed a bright flashlight inside the can.  Because the flashlight was so bright and my ceilings are not very high the symbol did appear on the ceiling.  It would have been super fun to have multiple cans and turn off the lights during the birthday dinner. 

Games:
Batman-Batman joker (Duck duck goose)
Penquin shuffle (3 teams - 5 kids each) balloons between the legs they had to run to the batcave. The team member could run until the previous person was through the cave
Mr Freeze dance (Freeze tag using the batman theme song)
Batarang target practice (make Joker bullseye with villains on it)
Bat-Tag (using bat clip art and craft foam I made bat - used double sided sticky tape to stick to the kids shirts) who ever got the most bats in 2 minutes won (we played this one twice

Food:
Riddler Munch - green MM, yogart raisins, peanuts
Penguin Popcorn; I turned a plastic top hat upside down and put the popcorn in it and had a pair of white gloves and a cigar placed by the dip
catwoman claws which were Buggles that could be put on their fingers like claws. Add cat tail and ears to dish
Two-Faced Pizza- ordered pizzas with 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni each
Mr. Freeze's Fruit

Poison Ivy Pasta
Joker Juice or Poison Ivy Punch (froze silk ice in green koolaid - floated them in red punch) OR green punch and I frozen some plastic ivy in a Jell-O mold to float in the punch

Cake: Blue with black gotham city on sides & batman toys on top.
12 Cupcakes- icing with Batman picks on top
Mr. Freeze ice cream (wrapped ahead of time in aluminum foil balls)

Music: CD is about 45 minutes of childrens song - every third song was the Batman theme song
