Party Recap

The inspiration for this party came from Paige Simple Studio gorgeous Valentine Day Collection. I just loved the color scheme that Kristen used on her designs. I found the bird ornaments on clearance at Walmart from 10cents each and knew I had to use them as backdrop/centerpiece for the party. As always, I tried to keep the desserts simple but cute and yummy. I bought store bought goodies and dressed them up. I transformed the Valentine's Cake into a Heart cake pop and the fancy cakes got a little fancier by drizzling some pink chocolate and heart sprinkles. They also enjoyed popcorn, heartmallows, white brigadeiro, chocolate covered fortunate cookies and heart shaped sandwiches. As for activities, the children made cute "Be Mine" bracelets and Valentine's mailboxes. The children made Valentine's messages for each child and "delivered" them inside their mailboxes.
The weather was perfect and the children had a lovely time!
