Party Recap

My daughter just recently turned 10. Her birthday actually fell on a Saturday this year, the only problem was it was 4th of July weekend. Several of her friends were out of town, but the one who were able to come had a great time. We had a beach theme and the weather definitely cooperated for the water games because it was in the 90s. It was just too hot to do all of the outside activities, but the girls did not seem to mind. In addition to getting wet, we decorated flip flops and ate beach themed food.

Party Highlights

  • Best Dressed

All of the girls wore bathing suits because we were playing water games and for the beach theme.

  • Desserts

On the dessert table there were beach themed marshmellow popw, a beach themed chex mix, candy bowls and beach themed cupcakes

We decorated flip flops, played pin the wing on the flamingo, and had some water themed games.

  • Budget

I spent $100-$150 total for everything. Most of the decorations and goodies for goody bags came from the dollar store. I used coupons and bought things on sale for the food.

There were many great moments, I don't know if I could name just one of them the best.

We ate crab shaped chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, fruit kebobs and a watermelon shark

We had cherry crush, blue raspberry crush and capri sun juice bags

  • Funniest Moment

It was very funny to see the girls go through the obstacle course wearing swim googles and an intertube.
