Party Recap

When my soon to be 3 year old declared her birthday party was to be panda bear themed, I was stumped on how to make this happen and yet be girly! I think we pulled it off with the lime green and hot pink accents. Flowers on the panda's ears, lots of bamboo, and girly fun!! We spent the day stuffing our own panda bears, playing pin the nose on the panda, and taking pics in the panda picture booth!

Hi Amanda! Loved your ideas! My daughter who is turning 6 loves pandas! If you don't mind me asking and if you don't mind sharing...what's the website where you found how to assemble those cute, adorable panda bear headbands tutorial ? Thanks in advance!

http://www.creativegreenliving.com/2011/05/panda-bear-wear.html So I started with the tutorial above, but made it my own...here goes: 1. I wrapped the headbands in black ribbon first so the ears had something to keep them from sliding around 2. I added white felt on top of the black to give the real panda ear look 3. I added a pink felt flower with a green rhinestone on the corner of one ear (i bought a pack of scrap stickers with a flower I liked to use as the template for the felt flowers! Hope this helps and your little one has a beary good birthday ;)

Hello Amanda! We are doing the PandaMania VBS this year and was hoping to get a little insight on to how you did the panda photo booth. It looks like you used plywood maybe, but how did you make it stand up?

Hi Judy! We used two L shaped wall shelf brackets. My husband attached them to a second piece of plywood screwed to the bottom/back of the board, and then secured it with the L brackets. It worked great!!!

Can you explain this activity? Did you draw a panda on the shirt for them to decorate?

Hey Ann P, these were little shirts for the panda bears. I got fabric markers and the kids got to decorate a shirt for their little bear that they stuffed.
