Belle of the Ball Bridal Shower
ByParty Recap
I threw a bridal shower for my sister. Her wedding colors were blue and yellow. I knew I wanted to use blue Ball mason jars so I came up with a theme "Belle of the Ball." Blue and yellow with damask was my color scheme. My sister's wedding song was "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" so I tied that in as well.

-

-
Desserts
The dessert bar held Lemon Meringue Pie, Cherry Almond Crumble & Dulce de Leche Cheesecake in jars, oreo and carrot cake truffles, macarons and sugar cookies
-
Party Favors
Each place setting had a little paper mason jar filled with chocolate. Each dessert in a jar had a fabric flower clipped on for guests to keep. I also made lavendar sachets made out of black lace for each guest since this was a personal shower.
-
Activities / Games
The first game was to match candy bar names to wedding words. The second game was to pick an old household item to sell at a garage sale and write 3 reasons you want to sell it. When each guest read their "ad", they were told to change the name of the item to the name of the groom. It was hilarious! The third game was like hot potato with a gift bag that guests were told contained a type of lingerie. The last person holding the bag would have to model it. The last person holding the bag came out modeling a teddy (a teddy bear, not lingerie.) Everyone lauged and the model was relieved.
