Party Recap

My 3 year old son is crazy about dinosaurs so we had no doubt about the theme for his party, we planed a jurassic day with dinosaur egg hunt and excavation, dino bouncy castle, dino music and lots of dino food :)

Party Highlights

  • Party Favors

Dinosaur crayons, Dino stickers, Dino masks, growing Dino (grows in the water) and a little notebook

  • Activities / Games

We had a dinosaur hunt and the kids had to find the dinosaur eggs, when we finish finding all of them, we asked for help to brake the eggs and we share the goodies inside. We had a massive Jurassic Bouncy castle with slide and dinosaurs inside, was a big hit

  • What People Ate

Kids: "Dirt Cups" (cups with chocolate mousse, crumbled cookies and a worm), "stegosaurus bites" (timtam pops), macaroons, Dinowiches, "for the herbivores" (Vegetable cups), "T-rex eggs" (traditional brazilian chicken pastry made in shape and size of an egg), "nachosaurus" (nachos cups), dino cookies, lollies... Adults: all the kids food :) Ham and bread rolls and dips

  • What People Drank

water, juice, chocolate milk, soft drinks beer, wine and bubbles for grown ups

  • Best Moment

The first time my son saw the bouncy castle! he has been talking about the Dino party for a while so he was really excited!

  • Funniest Moment

When we sang happy birthday at the kids table and we let them help themselves with the pieces of the dinosaurs, they were very happy to destroy the dino cake :)

  • Best Dressed

My husband paleontologist, he looked great

Hi I have my daughter's 5th birthday next week, she chose a dinosaur party theme! I love the wooden spoons with your son's name on and the "tri-colour" paper straws. Do you mind me asking where did you get them from? I live in Auckland too. Thanks Bertha

Hello Cristiane! My son's b-day is coming up at the end of the month and I really liked the invitation you used for your son's. Was it an e-vite type of invitation? Thanks in advance. -Miriam

Hi Jill, I done Papier marche eggs (paper, glue, water, check online) and covered with stone like spray (mitre ten), kids had to find the eggs as part of the entertainment and they were filled with goodies (Dino stickers in one, Dino crayons in another, Dino toys)
