Selected as Party of the Day on November 20th!
Blake's Dino Dig
ByParty Recap
This party was fit for a dinosaur fanatic! I decided to throw a dinosaur themed 3rd birthday for my son Blake, with all the dinosaur details!
I setup an "Excavation Station" for the young excavators to pickup their excavation supplies: brushes, magnifying glasses, safari hats, binoculars, and bag. From there, the excavators went on a "Dinosaur Egg Hunt" throughout the yard. After the egg hunt, the kids went to the custom built "Dig Site" for the fossil dig. There they found all sorts of dinosaur bones, and collected them in their excavation kits. The Jurassic Art table was a fun little area for the kids to paint, color, and make different dinosaur projects.
The backyard made for a great backdrop for such a green theme! The yard was filled with signs, such as: "T-Rex Crossing" and "Stegosaurus Ahead". The birthday boy wore a shirt with his name: Blakeasaurus and his age, Three, while mom and dad wore shirts that read: "Daddysaurus Rex" and "Mommysaurus". All the kids had so much fun digging for fossils, hunting for dinosaur eggs, and making cool dinosaur projects to take home!
