This year he decided he wanted to have his party away from home. When he saw the Lunar Mini Golf place inside the mall - he knew that's what he wanted. It's mini golf - only in the dark. Everything is marked with neon paint so it glows under
the black lights.
I made the invitation using Word. I don't have a photo - but after printing I matted them onto matching cardstock.
I got several packs of glow bracelets from the $1.00 bin at Michaels. I also found black visors there, and wrote each kids name on them in neon puff paint. I wasnt sure at the time if it would glow, but it did! It made it pretty easy to figure out who was who, as long as they had their hat on! I found a neon yellow shirt at Walmart & I knew the birthday boy would stand out in it.
The cake was simple - it was a round soccer ball pan from Wilton. I frosted it in grey frosting to resemble the moon. For the top, I made a flag out of a skewer. I found an alien toy of his, and made a golf club out of grey foam.
