Party Recap

After having two daughters, I finally had a boy and that has allowed me to get into the boy birthday party themes! I knew that I wanted to do a prince theme very quickly because he is after all, my little prince.

The party wasn't that large, we just had family and a few close friends over to celebrate the occasion. Because of this, I only setup a nice table along with a banner above our back door. I created the cupcake wrappers that are personalized with his name and age, along with the toppers for the cupcakes. I also made a few more toppers for his smash cake along with a 5x7 print that went into a blue frame that I bought from Ikea. A blue table cloth, blue plates, silverware, and napkins finished off the look I was going for.

Even though we kept the party intimate, I still think a little decorating helps create a fun party!

So, about the crying photo. He just got overwhelmed from all of the people singing to him and paying him all the attention. He was good for a few minutes, but it all caught up to him and he let us all know. Poor little guy!

Even after his little meltdown, I know he had a great day. And I will have some memories to share with him when he gets older! :)
