Our vacations normally emcompass Brant's birthday and after the fun at last year's surf party, Brant was determined to have another party at the beach, even after we had to go a week later due to ball season this year; but he was adament about having another party at the beach and was willing to wait. We used the empty tiki bar poolside, which provided the perfect back drop. We cooked out at the grilling area and the shark theme with the different shades of blue was lots of fun! Stay tuned, next year, Brant will be turning 8 and wants to do an octopus theme :)
I made shark, fin, and #7 cookies, we had blue "shark jelly" (Jello), The cake was a 4 layer alternating chocolate and white with buttercream icing that I bought at Publix once again and threw the fondant/cookie accent on We had Blue Bell Christmas Cookies in July ice cream~loved it!
Plastic Shark Containers with Shark gummies and Great White Shark tic tacs, also a mini bucket with giant blue Lollipop
What People Ate
We were staying at the beach, and made use of the grilling area-keeping it simple with Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, Chip and Salsa plus all the fun "junk food"
What People Drank
Kids had Blue Crayola water (I needed something easy that I didn't have to mix up and low in sugar)
She agreed to just make the fondant accents, since I was leary of traveling with a cake!

Loved the printable party package! The best thing is, I was able to do my own personalization and print as much or as little as I needed! What I printed wasn't even half, there were so many things to choose from, but since this was a very small party and I was traveling, I kept it simple. http://www.paperandcake.com
