Party Recap...

What a sweet way to welcome a new baby boy...a honey bee baby shower! The inspiration for this theme was the guest of honor's nickname..."B". The parent's-to-bee were excited to see what I had in store for them.

The party was decorated with baby blue linens, diaper cake sunflower centerpieces, and baby blue and yellow "bee hive" paper lanterns. The decorating was a bit of a challenge because you don't find too many "honey bee" inspired decorations already made to purchase. Everything had to be handmade. And although i prefer handmaking everything, I was too busy during this holiday season to put together a whole baby shower. But in the end, it turned out great and the parents really enjoyed it.
