Butterfly 3rd Birthday

Two special girls were celebrated at this butterfly 3rd birthday in the park. Planning for a party on a budget, two moms worked together to do most of the decor and details on their own. A great time was had by all!

  For anyone with a sweet tooth, this was the perfect party! The dessert display included cupcakes topped with butter cream iced "grass", fondant butterflies and drop flowers. People also enjoyed shimmering butterfly cookies and pink and green jello served with butterfly spoons!

  Each guest took home a butterfly lollipop.

  The children loved playing on the playground that adjoined the picnic pavilion.

  The most touching moment was when the girls held hands while the guests sang them "Happy Birthday."

  The two birthday girls came all dress up in butterfly fairy outfits.

  People ate a picnic lunch of sandwiches, potato salad and butterfly snack pouches of grapes and carrots.

  People sipped pink lemonade out of pink and green butterfly straws, or enjoyed a refreshing bottle of butterfly water.
