LOVE this! I thought of this theme for my daughter's first birthday and googled it and found your party. So adorable. Where did you get the wall decal? I'm definitely gonna have to copy that!

Party Recap...
My little guy loves putting on his rainboots after a rainshower and splashing in the puddles so it only seemed fitting since his birthday is in April that I do a fun "April Showers" birthday party for him! :) We just had moved back to the midwest after living in Arizona for 10 years so I was excited to have so many of our family members present for Cam's 2nd birthday. I had a fun little slogan that I put on the invite too... "Oh my Galosh, Cameron is turning 2!" :) It was such a fun and special day and as always everything came together in the nick of time! :)

Our little guy is such an entertainer...he dressed up in his Chef's outfit he received as as a gift and was being all goofy and silly ...so cute!

Goes to my brother again...he was a good sport and made us all laugh wearing a big yellow rain slicker! :)

"A Rainbow of my Own" book
I love having a special keepsake for each of Cam's parties. For his April Showers party, I had a book called "A rainbow of my own" out for eveyrone to sign and write a special message. Not only is the book adorable but he can read all the special messages of everyone that was at his party for years to come. :)
Rain cloud mobiles
My Aunt Michelle made the rain cloud mobiles that hung above the dessert table...she did such an amazing job..they were the perfect touch to the party. They are now hanging in Cam's playroom! :)

Activities / Games
The little ones played outside..beautiful day! I had a fun little craft...especially cute if it would have been raining but we had lots of sunshine. Drop food coloring on cardstock and then take it out in the rain to create a colorful collage. Since it wasn't raining I had a litte spray water bottle the kids used. :)
