I wanted to create an elegant, quaint yet fun birthday party for my dearest sister's 40th birthday. Since she is a Pisces I went with a "Under the Sea" theme. To incorporate the theme I used sea shells & the color turquoise thoughout the party room, including the photo-op frame! The centerpeices had live beta fish swimming their little hearts away as we partied. The special touch were the strings of pictures of all the moments in her life. They were all around the party room, headed by personlized reasons why she is a great DAUGHTER, SISTER, WIFE & MOTHER. They were attached to the string with clothes pins decorated with seashells & rafia! We had tons of fun and the best part was that she had a great time! I don't know anyone else in the world who deserved it more!
She was surprised to see my mother and sister who came from Florida for her birthday.

The Price is Right Game: Guess the shopping bag cost from 1972. I placed items at the entrance, provided paper & pencil and the person who was the closest to the total won the prize.
