Caroline's Outdoor Movie Pajama Party

What do you get when you combine the fun of a vintage outdoor drive-in theater with a pajama party? You get a super fun Outdoor Movie Pajama Party! Fifty first graders were invited to wear pajamas, bring blankets, and come enjoy the Barbie Mermaid Tale 2 movie out under the stars to celebrate Caroline's birthday!

• What People Ate

  A New Orleans Lucky Dog Cart was on hand to serve up its famous hot dogs, and a movie theater popcorn stand gave out bags of delicious popcorn. Other movie snacks included fruit snacks and goldfish.

• What People Drank

  Bottled water with star-themed labels and juice drink boxes were iced down for the girls!

• Desserts

  Cookie Cake and Ice Cream were enjoyed by all!

• Party Favors

  Glow in the dark necklaces were distributed as the sun went down and the movie began. On their way home for the evening, the girls received party favors of microwave movie theater popcorn and oversized movie candy boxes. Party themed favor tags thanked the guest for making the party such a "sweet treat."

• Activities / Games

  The timing of the party coincided with dusk, and was scheduled 15 minutes prior to sunset. The girls staked out their claim to a spot on the grassy lawn in front of a giant inflatable movie screen. They enjoyed their snacks as they watched the Barbie Mermaid Tale 2 movie.
