    I used a very sharp xacto knife and a lot of glue. One thing I did was also Google "carousel boutique" and downloaded an image and printed it out as large as I needed to cut out the details like the door, windows, the ponies and all the other details. Since I did not want to paint, I just used scrapbook paper to decorate it. All that saved a lot of time. Good luck with the project!!
