Carter's 1st Birthday was so special & fun! Was so wonderful to have all of our family & friends there to celebarte our lil' man! Was such a fun theme to do all things BOY! :)

Idea

Party Highlights

  • Desserts

    "Treat" Bar, "Gummy Worm in the Dirt" (Chocolate pudding, topped with crushed oreos, and I found gummy snails for the top)

  • Activities / Games

    Pass the Doggie Bone, Toss the ball to the Puppy, Feed the Puppy, Doggie Bounce House, Frog Pinata

  • Party Favors

    Pail of all things boy (Harmonica, paddle ball, bazooka, jacks, etc.)

  • What People Ate

    Pizza, Salad, Pasta Salad, Fruit, "Snail Sammies", "Cattail Corndogs"

  • What People Drank

    "Toad Tea", "Pond Punch", "Waterlily Water"

  • Music Playing

    Frog and dog classics and other ones I could find on Itunes ("How Much for that Doggie in the Window", "B-I-N-G-O", "Who Let the Dogs Out", a Kermit the frog song, etc.) with a mixture of country songs all about kids & having kids ("If he's anything like me", "Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)", "My Front Porch Lookin In", "Let them be Little", etc...

    Had my son's one year old photo shoot pre-party with him in overalls and with the little red wagon etc so I would have them out at the party...Wagon willed with stuffed animals and paddle ball for the kids to play with...

    The frog pails were adorable. I did some research & found them at an online sight. They were 12.99 each though. :( I do wish you still had all of your stuff; I would have gladly bought it from you! :)

    I initially found the fabric at a little local fabric shop, but it was super expensive, so I looked at the name of it on the side & found and ordered it on-line for like 1/2 the cost...I'll try and find what little I have left to get the name for you girls :)
