Rainbow Party
ByParty Recap
We had a "Just Because" party and invited kids over to celebrate with colors! A hands-on playful area was created in my backyard with brightly colored balloons and balls. The children enjoyed color mixing art projects with paint and raindrop splashes. The water sprinkler and water table were great for cooling down and washing up. The little artists loved decorating their own cupcakes and mixing blue, yellow and red frostings to make purple, orange and green ones. Don't forget the rainbow sprinkles! Other fun activities included blowing large bubbles and discovering the colors in them and playing the game Twister. The biggest hit was the rainbow jello, which is very easy to make. You can find color art activity ideas and the rainbow jello recipe at www.chieuurban.com - click on "fun stuff". The kids had a blast!
