Party Recap

Wow! What a day! With the help of my husband, mom, MIL, dad, stepmom, and parent/teacher volunteers, my business sponsored and hosted an all-day circus for over 400 people (students who had no discipline in past month, parents, and teachers)! The smiles that filled the room made all the hard work well worth it!

The clown (my mom) started each of the 7 50-minute sessions by saying "No ticket required, only good behavior! Step right up the fun awaits, step right through these circus gates!"

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

Because the sessions started before lunch, we decided to not offer any snacks. Yea, bummer!

  • Best Moment

The entire day was awesome! My personal favorite time was the 50 minutes when my son's pre-k group was there (he's the cute blonde wearing the red lion shirt).

  • Most Touching Moment

We received lots of appreciation, but one person stood out. He was an older gentleman (probably a grandparent or great grandparent) who approached me after the session. He told me how heart-warming it was to see nothing but smiles from so many kids. He thanked me for taking stress away from the kids even if just for a few minutes. It was so rewarding to hear his genuine appreciation.

  • Best Dressed

Beignet the Clown... except she used acryclic paint instead of face paint on accident so by the end of the day her face was melting!

  • Party Favors

animal masks, noise makers, clown noses, toys, trinkets

  • Activities / Games

Beignet's Balloon Bust, Rings of Fire, Cajun Quadricycle, Walk like an Elephant, Balance Beam, Hula hoops, Pin the Nose on the Clown, Tattoos, Paper Plate Clown Art, Coloring Sheets, Sticker Art, Feed the Elephants, Parade... all while listening to circus music on the loudspeaker
