Dr. Karen Fields, a Chicago based bride, is the type of client that every vendor wants to work with. She is not only classy and fabulous but she gives a direction and then allows the professionals to use their imagination. Karen hired us, Lucia|Paul Design, a Tampa, Florida based company, to help execute her dream bridal shower and wedding in her home state of Michigan.
So when Karen told us (Lucia|Paul Design) that she wanted a Coco Chanel inspired bridal shower for 50 of her closest family and friends, we knew just what we wanted to do. To convey sophistication and elegance, Anna Richardson, Executive Planner + Designer, developed an overall design concept that would resonate in all of the décor details to give the shower a cohesive and polished look. The Chanel inspired elements were achieved by using the classic black and white colors and accented in pearls, antique broaches, ribbon and of course the signature Chanel quilting. The polished look continued through the stationary & napkins, the long family style tables were adorned with tall black vases overflowing with bunches of white hydrangeas. The place settings had striking black chargers and the distinctive black wine glasses added the perfect finish. Of course, no shower would be complete without an incredible dessert table! This beautiful table was created by Dooby Design Group incorporated the black and white colors with sprinkles of pink and added just the right pop of color we needed to complete this modish look.
