Party Recap
This party was for my son Charlie's first birthday, we struggled with the theme until his grandpa taught him to say moo! It was so adorable and it sealed the deal! We lucked out with the perfect fall day, I was worried it maybe too chilly with the tent blocking the son, but I needed a place to hang the decorations! We had yummy fried and rotisserie chicken, cornbread, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and salad. For desert we had mini Apple, cherry and pumpkin pies and Charlie's adorable cake and smash cake made by his daycare provider "Nina". She is amazing. We also had hot Apple cider and coffee. As usual my sister in law helped out tremendously and added so many special details to the party. The children went on "hay rides", played the egg and spoon race, sack race, pin the tail on the cow and had fun with the farmhouse piñata. The kids picked their own pumpkin as a party favor. The day was amazing. I wish I could do it again! My 4 year old son Jacks 1st birthday was so special and I wanted Charlie's to be the same.
