Charlotte's 5th Birthday Painting Party

My daughter was really into painting near the time of her 4th birthday party, so I decided to use that as the theme. We set up two tables with ample paint brushes, paint trays, paper and washable paints for the kids to use. I assumed things would get messy, therefore I customized oversized t-shirts for each child to wear while painting. Everyone enjoyed finding their own initial!

• What People Ate

  I offered fresh fruit and veggies, pretzels and hummus, rainbow goldfish and mini quiches.

• What People Drank

  There were juice pouches, water and flavored seltzers for the adults.

• Desserts

  Instead of a cake, we had an ice cream filled paint can and various toppings.

• Party Favors

  Each child went home with a mini paint can filled with colorful beads to make their own necklaces at home.

• Activities / Games

  Since it was a painting party, the kids painted. I wish had thought of another activity or game because the excitement of painting was relatively short lived.
