Captain Chase and his mighty crew had to pay a toll to Walk the Plank, Pin the Cross Bones on the Sail, Dig for Treasure, Protect Bucky from the Jolly Roger and Uncover treasure buried in the ship.
Chase wanted cupcakes. We had Peanut Butter Cup, Cookies-n-Cream, Strawberry Shortcake and Lemon Blackberry.
Kids were able to collect pirate gear (hat, eye patch, sword) while playing games. They also got to dig for treasure. We had a red treasure box filled with beaded necklaces, gold doubloons, pencil and erasers, notebooks, and skull and cross bone crafts.
Activities / Games
Each pirate who came aboard Adams Isle was give and money pouch filled with 10 gold doubloons. Each game required them to pay the toll. Walk the Plank was 1 gold doubloon. Each had to walk across is three times to earn their pirate hat. They then preceeded to to Pin the Crossbone on the pirate ship costing them 2 more gold doubloons. Lastly game was Cannonball Launch. The pirates had to help save Bucky from the Jolly Roger. (we had three targets on stakes in the yard and Bucky was setup in the middle of them. Each pirate took turns launching cannonballs (water balloons) at the targets. Each got 12 shots and paid 4 gold doubloons. They also got to dig for Treasure and we had a Pinata filled with gold (rolos, peanut butter cups, mini snickers and hersheys nuggets).
What People Ate
We had Jolly Roger Hot Dogs, Bucky's Baked Beans, Tic-Toc-Croc Chips, Bones' Jello, Captain Hook's Sausage Tray, Jake's Italian Pasta, Izzy's Ranch Pasta, Skully's Veggies.
What People Drank
Kids had Juice Boxes. Water and Soda also available.
Best Moment was when my niece drove up the Power Wheels Dune Buggy and seeing his eyes light up and watching him run towards it.
We asked the party goers to come dressed as pirates. Not many took advantage of the theme, so I was prepared with a few extras. ( I cut vests from gold and blue fabric, had skull and cross bone bandanas and sashes)
