Party Recap

My little girl's first party. Wow. As crazy as this sounds I waited for this day my whole life, lol. I always wanted to have a little girl and throw her a Princess party. I had high expectations of a party, I did what I could, funds being limited. We had no where that did not charge an arm and a leg for parties. Places around were like $100 an hour, and thats just crazy. So I decided to have it at home. Took all the furniture out of our living room and all the art work down to give me the "blank slate" I needed to work. The theme is princess, but nothing was set. You know, like you have a Toy story party, you get plates and go from there. Well, all I knew was I wanted a girly pink Princess party. So Pins from pintrest, trips to stores, things came together pretty good. I put more emphasis on the cake tables and such than I did decorating everything else. I realize now how much easier it is to pick a theme and stick with it. Had her theme been a set princess such as, Cinderella for example, well there's all kinds of things you can do with that. But at this party I wanted it to be free range. Just pink, girly, princess. No set princess.
