We blended the Kentucky Derby with Cinco de Mayo and fun was had by adults and children alike!!

    Watching & betting on the Kentucky derby followed by a competitive game of cornhole in the backyard

  • Best Moment

    The 2 minutes of the derby were crazy and fun. Even the kids were cheering on the horses.

  • What People Ate

    We had all Mexican themed food - chips & salsa/guac, jalapeno poppers, mini tacos, 7 layer dip. Then after the race we set up a make your own taco bar. For dessert we have a Derby Pie for the adults and cookies for the kids.

  • What People Drank

    We had Mint Julips for the Derby, Beer-garitas for Cinco de Mayo and Corona w/ Limes as well. The kids had lemonade and juice boxes!
