Party Recap
The great thing about being an event planner...I get to use my own props for my kids parties. So this carnival theme is a party I recycled from another clients party....just changed the colors and added details tailored to my liking. We had rain, rain and more rain so we had to have the party indoors...not what I wanted but always prepare for plan B. We set up the carnival booths, face painter tent, candy cart and photo booth along with some other displays and it worked out perfectly. The kids enjoyed all the games, goodies and prizes. I think the adults were just as excited as the kids! I created punch cards as a way to keep track of prizes to be given away for each child. Goody boxes were given out when children arrived to collect their goodies and prizes in. I couldn't have had a better outcome, the children had so much fun and that's what counts!!!

My husband and I made the booth frame out of pvc pipes at a hardware store. We saw pictures of one and made guesses on cuts on our own. There is a person that sells the instructions on Etsy.com or the carnival booth. The red and white striped plastic tablecloth roll we used can be found here, http://www.amazon.com/Red-White-Striped-Tablecloth-Roll/dp/B005TMLVW0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1420555378&sr=8-2&keywords=striped+plastic+tablecloth

Hi! I am trying to figure out how many pipes were needed to make the booths and the cost? Also, how did you make the signs for the booths.

Sorry lol!! I also wanted to know which size pvc pipes did you guys use?

Hi Kelly, We purchased 1 inch pvc pipes in the 8 or 10ft lengths and cut them down. I really don't remember how many we purchased. I should have written down what we did. Good Luck!

I love what you did! We, too, have to do ours indoors but because my daughter has a February birthday. I bought the etsy plans and have the table cover roll. I can't figure out how to adhere it to the pvc and would love to know what you did. Thanks!

Thank you Francesca! I used basic scotch tape to hang it on the pvc pipe to hold the tablecloth in place then I used extra dollar store plastic tablecloths (the blue ones that you see) to knot around on either sides to hide the tape and make it look fuller. Have Fun!!!

Did you rent a photo booth or did you have people do it with their phones?

Maria, I made a photo booth...I took pictures and some used their phones.
