Party Recap...

I was having a hard time deciding on a theme for my daughters party, when my husband suggested food. (She loves playing with faux food, etc). Then I remembered how much she had loved decorating cookies at Christmas and the idea was born. We'd have a cookie decorating party!

I did not want the typical cookie party colors of pink & brown or blue & brown. So I chose something bright & colorful, aqua & orange.

The invitations were foam cookies, which I ended up not passing out, so they were repurposed into a banner. We had several blue & orange treats, Sixlets, donuts, cake pops & chocolate covered Oreos.

And of course the kids decorated cookies. I made several batches of frosting and dyed it different colors and set out different sprinkle options. It was messy but they had fun!
