Cook's Modern Milk and Cookies Sweet First Birthday

We celebrated my youngest son Cook's first birthday with a modern milk and cookies theme complimented with a fun take on a neutral color palette. Everyone calls him "Cookie" or "Cookie bear", so throwing him a milk and cookies party was a must! I knew I wanted to put a fun take on the theme, and choosing the color palette was the first step.

As a sign maker, I knew I had to use this opportunity to create some very special pieces for Cook's big day. The feature backdrop wall was built by my husband, and I added the sign "Cook's Sweet One" to tie it all together. His cake toppers, welcome sign, bounce house name cutout, and monthly milestone signs/backdrop wall were all made specially for his party.

I worked with Dania from Amber and Vine to create balloon garlands that brought my color palette to life. She did a phenomenal job nailing all of the colors and added the balloons to both the backdrop and the gorgeous White Castle bounce house.

Shantell from Island Bounce House provided all of the guests with a bouncing good time with her stunning all White Castle bounce house. Both kids and adults enjoyed bouncing and hanging out in the shaded bounce house! It was such a beautiful feature to have at the party, but also provided the perfect entertainment for everyone.

A picnic set up in the grass was a relaxing place for guests to sit and cool off from the hot Florida sun. Everything from the table and pillows/blankets to the giant macrame umbrellas were provided by Britteny from Cali Curated.

Both of Cook's cakes were made by Nathania from Sugar and Bloom cakes. When I initially spoke to her, I told her the theme was modern milk and cookies and she put her artistic touch on the theme. She added the most adorable milk splash to the top of the main cake and creative a miniature version for the smash cake.

When I reached out to Brett from Sugar and Dough Cookies, I provided her the mockups of the signs and backdrops I created and she used those so beautifully on her cookie designs. I couldn't choose which was my favorite design that she made!

Guests went crazy for the charcuterie cones that were made by Brooke from Graze of Sunshine. They were perfect to grab and go, and eat while watching the kids have fun. She even included kid friendly cones with pixie sticks and gummy worms. They were a huge hit!

Yisel from Dreamer photography was there to capture every moment and detail of the day. I'm so grateful to her for documenting all of the important details as well as the memories we made that day with family and friends.

All in all, we had a fabulous day celebrating our littlest love on his big day! Happy birthday to our Cookie bear!

  Dania was fabulous to work with! From the very beginning, she was extremely enthusiastic about the theme and color scheme of the party. She helped me map out the layout of the party by coming to my home prior to the event to do a walk through. Whenever I needed to bounce an idea off of someone, Dania was my person! She gave me honest and helpful feedback the entire time. When it came time for the event, she made the most gorgeous and creative balloon designs. She was such a huge help and pleasure to work with!
