Party Recap
It was a lovely fresh spring day. We went very early and set up the back drop that has been cluttering up my dining room for the past few months. Made simply from a4 pink paper and a glue gun. Loads of tutorials on you tube.
I made the invites, menu cards, table plan myself. I painted a simple wedding puzzle guest book pink and added flowers and gold lettering to make it more appropriate.
I spray painted gold a load of juice bottles that the golf club had collected for me and I added the baby's breath. Gems stems created all the lovely table and dessert table floral displays. The table runners were 3 lengths of pink fabric, and a thin roll of gold glitter organza positioned on the edges to look like a large roll underneath.
I used gold sequin elastic to accent the jars on the tables as I initially intended to spray them gold also but I love them too much and will keep them after.
The amazingly delicious gold drip/ pink rose ombre cake (chocolate cake inside), brownies and cupcakes were created by a friend. Hope you enjoy.
