Dessert Tasting
ByParty Recap
We held a Cheese tasting party a few months before hand that inspired us to hold a new version with tiny portions of our favorite desserts.

Everything!

Party Favors
Instead of pre-filled boxes, we decorated wax paper bakery bags with cute designs, and let our guest take home a few of their favorite treats from the buffet!
-
Activities / Games
We set up a few of our favorite adult board games and set our friends at them!
-
Budget
My professional background is in the Culinary Field so I saved cost by making a good deal of our desserts. In total I spent $90 on ingredients and food. $20 on Beverages. By having our guest bring a bottle of their favorite wine we saved on alcohol costs. $10 on decorations and table ware. And maybe $10 if that on misc items. You know last minute trips for ice and things!

What People Ate
We offered our guests a Build-Your-Own Brownie Bar, Petite Fours, Fruit Tartlets, Mini Cupcakes, Chocolate Fountain with Dippers, Fruit Salad, Mousse Parfaits, and a Build-Your-Own Sundae Bar.
-
What People Drank
We offered a Coffee Station with flavored coffees', assorted creamers, and syrups. We had guests bring a dessert wine to share, and also offered Ice cold Milk, a Sparkling Punch and Champagne!

Best Moment
The reaction when our guests saw the flowing chocolate fountain! They lined up like kids!
