Party Recap
My second daughter was born in the Year of the Dragon. But let's be honest, dragons are difficult to make "cute." So I played on the idea of dragonflies and a garden with paper roses.
I chose yellow to be the primary color to pop against the greenery. I created large paper roses to accent the backdrop, as well as yellow painted frames.
The kids were treated to gourmet donuts, rice krispy treats, chocolate covered oreos, sugar cookies, and cake.
Then the entertainment came and wow'ed the kids (and adults alike) with awesome balloon twisting.
It was a wonderful celebration of an important milestone.

This is a great theme and you pulled it together really well! How did you create the backdrop to the dessert table?

Thanks! The backdrop was a series of 10 x 10 faux shrub pieces that I connected together and adhered to a large foam board. The end result was about a 4' x 4' backdrop. Then, I added the wooden frames, dragonflies, and paper roses to them.
