Party Recap...

This party was thrown together last minute. It was simple and low budget :)

With Dylan's birthday being in August I'm never motivated. I'm not sure if I'm so overwhelmed with school starting or the fact that summer just ended. Either way, I seem extra exhausted in August! LOL

We rented a waterslide (per the birthday boy's request). That was a big hit! The kids had a ball! I put up a laundry line with clothes pins so there a place for towels.

I had a snack bar set up that consisted of: flip flop cookies, ocean jello cups with gummy sharks, gummy life savers, fishy crackers and pretzels.

As a back drop for the "lunch" table I bought bamboo fencing at Home Depot and hung SURF tin signs.

Lunch consisted of: hot dogs, chips, pasta salad, fruit salad and birthday cake.

Decorations were easy since my son's room is decorated in a Beach/Surf theme-many items I pulled from his room and tissue-paper poms always add that POP of color!
