E & L Under the Sea Party

The party was prepared, and planned by my 12 yrs old daughter. It was an end of the school year celebration. She made invitations that were hand stamped by her. All the decorations were made using cardboard, glitter and a lot of paint.
After, decorating the banquet hall, with the help of many friends, she had lunch with some of them. While they dressed up, a Trolley surprised them, at the front door, to take them to the banquet hall thru a scenic route. (her father's gift) At the party, a trolley ride was enjoyed by adults as well as children.
The children arrived to a cotton candy machine, snow cone, and a Punch Fountain in full operation.
The sound of the Under the Sea Disney Theme (Little Mermaid) Blasted from the Sound System. Everyone Screamed in Joy!

Before there was time to eat more candy, dinner was served. It consisted of Roasted Pork made by dad, granddad & grandma. Also, roasted chicken, side dishes of: fresh salad, potato salad, yucca and Rice (congris) were served restaurant style.
Then, The Jonas Mini-Drama was a 13 minute play done by including all "the very exited children", (ages 2-18), and some adults. Everyone was exited to see "the whale" . Our actors were the funniest. The costumes were hand sewn by mom, according to research done by party planner, and her brother. (even hand-made beards)(we had help from a wonderful aunt). The Castle, fishes, and boat were hand painted, by the party planner (my daughter) the sail was done by dad ,all this was done, using ideas from the internet.
The Cake for the candy table was made by "The Cake Attic". It was a three tier cake with beautiful fishes and sea stars all around, that was beautiful as well as delicious.
The under the sea cupcakes were made by my daughter, and her grandmother, decorated with chocolate hand molded lavender and blue candy.
The "Tiki bar" was was my sons creation for "the guys". It served all kinds of sodas, as well as plenty of water and more. It was a very hot day!
A fabulous fruit arrangement was made by the very gifted aunts. And , a "Sail boat" made out of watermelon and all kinds of fruit. Also, Croissants were decorated to be little crabs. The girls made salami and cream cheese rolls, and little meatballs, following internet suggestions.
The candy table included, chocolates, and a variety for sweets. A Special dessert was made" sugar free", by a friend that way no one was left out.. It was enjoyed by all.
The Party Favors, were "earned by the children" in a Biblical Treasure Hunt. (everyone won) Some consisted, of Bubble wands, handmade tulle, and sea shell hair bows. and many Treasure things"
The Children played in the park outside, while the adults danced, and talked. It was all worth it. We had a great time! We thank our family & friends, who do not need to have a special occasion to spend time with our children, you guys are great see you next winter!

  Cake by "The cake Attic" Cup cakes by Grandma and my daughter,(with chocolate candy) Dessert table with chocolates, cake pops, molded chocolate, sugar free dessert, and lolly pops, kisses and way to many to write. Lots of Fresh Fruit!

• Party Favors

  Bubble sticks, handmade hair bows of tulle and sea shells, glow sticks, card board fishes and candy bags to take home, Also cupcake bags were provided.

• Activities / Games

  Mini-Drama, Treasure Hunt, Music, and Trolley ride, for small children the facility has a park.
