Party Recap
My daughter, Ellah, wanted a mermaid party for her 4th birthday. As a children's party stationery designer, there was so much that I could've done, but since I was 8 months pregnant, I decided to keep the party low key & simple. Little did I know the August Texas heat and party excitement would play a part in the early delivery of baby #3!
Party Highlights
-
What People Drank
Ellah requested coconuts, so the girls enjoyed punch in their coconut cups.
-
Best Moment
The moment Ellah blew out her candles...it gets me every year.
-
Desserts
Fresh water pearls (yogurt covered raisins), Caviar (yogurt covered blueberries), and Sea Rose cream cheese mints - yum!
-
Activities / Games
The girls enjoyed swimming in the "Mermaid Lagoon" which was the pool, of course.

INSPIRATION
The color inspiration when designing the mermaid party printables came from the talented artist Katie Daisy. Here is the sign I used for inspiration http://www.etsy.com/listing/69444549/take-me-to-the-sea-8x10
