Erica's Princess and the Frog Birthday Party

The Princess and the Frog theme without being to party supply store. We created the theme without going overboard with branded items. The tea party theme combined with the Princess and the Frog theme by tying in the color scheme to compliment each other. The cake was from HEB and we added the Princess and the Frog characters. The table settings were very blingy with touches of frog such as the frog prince candle as a favor. Fleur de lis place card holders stayed true to the New Orleans setting of the movie. The bannister was decorated with a bayou feel. The food was true tea party fare and platinum espresso cups were perfect sized tea cups for small hands. The goody bags were purses with Princess and the Frog themed goodies. The cake table also served as a candy station.

• What People Ate

  Kids: pbj or ham and cheese sandwiches, strawberries, and assorted mini cupcakes. Moms: mini chicken salad croissant sandwiches, assorted cheeses and crackers, fruit, and mini cupcakes.

• What People Drank

  Apple juice as "tea"...adult beverages for the moms

• Desserts

  Chocolate cake, assorted cupcakes, and fruit.

• Party Favors

  Frog prince candle favor, purse filled with goodies, and a candy station

  Princess and the Frog scratch off cards, bingo, and craft activities.
