Party Recap

Planning Ethan's party took a little research and some feedback from my 8 year old son, Austin. As we sat down to watch a Hulk Cartoon one afternoon to get ideas for the party, bricks kept coming to mind. I knew the party location was of red brick and I had planned to use a brick wall as my back drop. So with my primary focus on Hulk smashing red bricks, I knew I needed bricks on the table to coordinate with the back drop. To make the red bricks I wrapped different sized boxes with brick print paper that I found in the art department at Michael's Craft Store. Then chose denim fabric to cover the table to resemble Hulk's ripped jeans and designed Hulk-Inspired printables for the party set up. In addition to the party table set up Ethan wanted to have a piñata. I took an 11" x 14" box along with tape, tissue paper & glue and made one to coordinate with my printables. I suggested using a pair of Hulk Gloves to smash the piñata instead of a stick and the children had fun with this idea! I worked with some fabulous vendors for this party, Cake Therapy (Cake Pops, Cupcakes, Cookies and Chocolate), You Can Call Me Sweetie, Treats 4 Ta-tas and Jenny's Divine Desserts all worked their magic on the delicious tasting and creative cookies; Stitch This embroidered a super cute Hulk-Inspired T-shirt.

I photographed and captured all the details of the set up and items from these wonderful vendors that also included items from Kara's Party Ideas, Michael's Craft Stores and Hobby Lobby! The Hulk-Inspired party was a "smashing" success!
