So often the focus on Valentine’s Day is on candy, notes from secret admirers and a sea of pink and red roses, when in fact kids don’t really care about all that hoopla. In fact, its some of the simplest things my parents did for me as a child that really stick out in my memory. So, if like us, you’re so tired of the usual Valentine’s Day fare, we just LOVE the idea of a special Valentine’s Day breakfast with the family. It provides a chance for connection before the start of a daily routine, gives everyone the energy they need to get through the day and starts the day off on an extra sweet note!
