Party Recap
My daughter chose her theme months in advance, and I'm so grateful she didn't change her mind! I pulled inspiration from The Tomkat Studio (food labels, party cirlces), True Love Found's rainbow party, Alannah Rose's ladybug garden party, and Tracey Lau's kite party.

oh wow!! This is the first 'real' one of these I've seen...how did you go slicing it up by the time you got towards the last slice?!
Mandy H wrote:
Oh, it totally toppled over! :) Fortunately, I didn't have to slice & serve the entire cake during the party. Only the last small bit of it fell over onto it's side and that was well after our guests had all left.

Hi Mandy! Love your party! I was hoping you might be able to tell me where you purchased the colored easels you used to hold the art canvas'? Thanks :)
Mandy H wrote:
Hi Angela, Thanks for the compliment! The easels were purchased at IKEA for $0.99/each. They were unfinished wood & I simply spray painted them in our rainbow colors. :) Thanks, mandy

I have been desperately trying to find these colored easels, but can't seem to find them. Can you please tell me where you found them? Thanks :) Super cute!!!

Sorry....saw your comment on the other page :) Thanks so much!!!
Mandy H wrote:
I hope IKEA still has them for you. I bought them last summer. I found them in the framing department! Good luck!

Yea...they still have them Mandy (only not close to me..lol). Hopefully they can mail them out to me. Thanks again!!

Can I ask what the blue backdrop is made out of...? Thanks!
Mandy H wrote:
Hi Kathy, The blue is actually bulletin board paper from the teacher supply store. It's simply taped to the backside of a sheet of foamcore (cardboard or plywood would also work).

Can you tell me where you got the balloon wreath or did you make it yourself?
Mandy H wrote:
Hi Amber, I actually made the wreath, following this tutorial: http://www.howdoesshe.com/birthday-wreath. But I used far more balloons than specified and added pipecleaners & the little happy birthday circle. I think I used 2-3 bags (20-25 count) of balloons per color.

did you make this or buy it. if you made it..can you give me a quick lesson.
Mandy H wrote:
Hi Buffy, I made it using a tutorial from How Does She. I used more balloons than they did, and added the pipe cleaners, but it was SUPER simple. http://www.howdoesshe.com/birthday-wreath

Where did you get all of the labels?
Mandy H wrote:
Hi Melissa, All of the printables for this party came from The TomKat Studio. I think the set has been updated a little recently, so it's not exactly the same now but still super cute! http://shoptomkat.com/item_36/Rainbow-Printable-Party-Collection.htm
