Party Recap...

I recently threw a farewell luau for some friends who were moving to Hawaii. I decided upon a Drinks and Dessert theme serving: coconut macaroons, lemon bundt cake, lime cupcakes with coconut frosting, chocolate covered pretzels, pineapple juice, sorbet, otter-pops and Gatorade (favors matched the decor). For the decorations I designed cupcake toppers, an aloha banner, food labels and farewell note cards to allow guest to write notes to the departing friends. To beat the heat there was a kiddie pool for the children and water balloons for everyone else!
