Fay's 2nd Minnie Mouse Birthday Party

Hi there! Today’s post is like no other and is very close to my heart. My baby girl reached again a very important chapter of her life. It is a special moment for me and my husband as well.
Six months before the month of March, I searched every DIY of Minnie Mouse because I don’t want to break my wallet and spend half of my allotted budget. Thanks to Pinterest, and other DIY blogs I saw that the styling I had in mind for Fay’s party is practical and will only be a fraction of the cost!  That’s when I decided to DIY every bit of decor to be used in the party.
I’d like to share the photos from the Minnie Mouse Birthday Party.  I enjoyed preparing for this pink, polka & black colors and was excited to see how everything came together for the party. When preparing for Fay’s second birthday party I knew Minnie Mouse would be a great theme because she loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

For the INVITATIONS:
Last week of January, I was busy crafting together the invitations. It was a DIY and was made of paper felt, black card board and scented fuchsia special paper. I got this idea through searching, thanks to Mr. Google. It was very easy to make and everyone can do this.

• What People Ate

  Menu: Lechon ( suckling pig ) Spaghetti Humba ( saucy meat ) Menudo I forgot the name of the other two menus but I remembered we have six dishes/menus.

• What People Drank

  For the drinks, mostly the guest preferred to drink soft drinks. We also prepared pineapple juice for the kids. Some were requested to have beer and wine.

• Desserts

  For the dessert, I made Minnie marshmallow pop and Minnie mouse cookies for the kids. We prepared chocolate fountain for the kids to enjoy partnered with different sizes of marshmallows, cookies and gummy candies. I also made fruit salad and macaroni salad. Lastly, the Minnie mouse birthday cakes sliced for the guest.

• Party Favors

  For party favors, I made Minnie/Mickey mouse headbands for the guest and Minnie mouse mugs as giveaways.
