Party Recap

As a summer lovin’ gal and the mother of a daughter with a July 4th birthday, Independence Day is a pretty special day for me. For this particular setup I really wanted to focus on the word “Freedom” since that’s what the day is really all about.

I stayed true to the red, white, & blue and added a little vintage look to the printables. Touches of burlap, wood, jute & mason jars on the dessert table added to the rustic look I was going for. Hanging candle lanterns over the table added a little touch of flair. The “flag style” painted mason jars with white hydrangeas was the perfect centerpiece for the table. We had vanilla bean cupcakes wrapped in our printable cupcake wrappers & topped off with our printable cupcake toppers. The knotted jute contributed to the rustic look. We offered blueberries and strawberries in paper cones and the Fourth of July cookies looked amazing and tasted just as good. They were the perfect touch in our all American wooden crate. The front of the table said it all with the printable FREEDOM banner overlapping the red, white, & blue fabric bunting. And no Fourth of July table would be complete without the American flag, the ultimate symbol of Freedom.

I had a smaller table off to the side with bottles of water, root beer and a fun layered red, white, & blue drink to quench a summer thirst. Behind the mini table was a reclaimed wooden sign hand painted with the saying “land of the free because of the brave since 1776”. The pinwheel freedom banner was the perfect touch to bring attention to the wooden sign.
