Party Recap
My son is obsessed with fire trucks so I decided that I would give him the best fire truck party I could pull off...the kids put out "fires", saved a kitty, and got to sit in a real truck! Everyone had a blast!

I made the flames out of poster board. I drew and cut out the three different sizes and glued them together. Then for the ones in the yard I taped garden stakes to the back and just stuck them in the ground. It was such an easy project...just takes some time if you're making a lot of them! Of course the poster also limits you to how big the flame could be. If you used red butcher paper you could make them huge! :)

How did you get the firetruck to your house? Did they just do that for free?

My sister was a member of that fire department for quite a few years and we still have some connections there so they did come to my house for free. But normally they would not go to a party. I was very lucky!
